And lots of Banana Slugs gaming together for a good cause.
- Competitions in Super Smash Bros.: Brawl, Super Street Fighter IV, and Super Smash Bros. (N64)
- Awesome prizes and lots of fun with fellow slugs.
- All skill levels welcome.
- Free admission for spectators; Donations graciously accepted.
As a cultural force, we believe in the potential for games to create a positive atmosphere in communities. To this end, we’re sponsoring a tournament in Fall quarter to raise funds for Child’s Play.
On November 19th, 2011, the Porter/Kresge Dining Hall will become the central hub for one of the largest on-campus gaming tournaments in recent history, featuring three games: Super Smash Bros: Brawl., Super Street Fighter IV, and Super Smash Bros. (N64).
Tickets for each event are $5 per competitor, with every penny raised from these sales donated to Child’s Play. We’re also be collecting at the event and online, for those that would like to spread a little more kindness this holiday season.
